Awana Grand Prix

All three kids participated in their first Awana Grand Prix in February. The kits and rules are exactly like Cub Scout Pinewood Derby except that they provide Awana stickers. We all had a great time planning and building the cars. Alex was excited to do a "lego superman" car, Jessica loved the glitter and pink of her "heart mobile" and Mandy had a great time planning her Wii remote. They each won their first heat! Mandy's car went further and came in 4th place. They are already starting to talk about designs for next year!
